E-brake light goes off for no reason?

Hey guys wasn't too sure on where to post this but anyways when I'm driving the e-brake light will go off on turns or when I'm stopping along with the ding... Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen or heard of this happening? The light will turn off after about 5 seconds I am obviously not touching the e-brake and I have no clue what could be causing it. Any help would be awesome thanks!

Just looked in the manual.

Could be fluid level is low, or other brake system problem.

I have the owners manual on my iPod. It's a free ap.

Check the brake fluid level.

Make sure you sync your iPhone app with your fluid level too. Otherwise you will get constant text message alerts about your fluid level. Combine this with the intermittent dash lights on your Jeep and you could turn into a widget!

I've been having the same problem for a couple of weeks now. I've already inspected the brakes at all four corners and checked the fluid without finding anything out of the ordinary.

Mine just did this too. topped off the fluid and was back in business! There is also a sensor that attaches to the e-brake assembly that could be faulty if the fluid is at an adequate level.
