Crushed exhaust

So, I was under the heep today and noticed that I crushed the exhaust pipe that sits in front of the crossmember by the catylic converters. Drivers side before the point the two banks join into the single pipe. So, my question. Do I need to replace the whole front part of the exhaust or can the piece be cut and replaced?

I was looking at the MBRP exaust, but I don't think it will solve my problem. Sugestions?

Thanks.

I've done the same thing....I'm surprised mine still runs.

At some point I'm just going to take it to a muffler/exhaust shop and have them cut that section out and replace that piece of pipe.

Only aftermarket stuff I've seen so far that covers that area is from RIPP...and it's an entire system...headers to muffler.

I'm tempted to weld a nut to mine and slide hammer it back out. Not sure how successful it'd be

Muffler shop can repair the section for under $100. I like the idea of trying to pull it out first.

Will the Rock hard skid plate prevent this in the future? It looks like it will cover everything in front of the cross member.
