Tire cover question,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Anyone ever tried putting a 31'' tire cover over a 255/75/17 tire? I bought a 33'' cover and it seems a little big. My spare is not new, it does have some wear on it so it is a little smaller than a never used 255/75/17. Thanks in advance guys. The cover I want doesn't come in 32'' which is what I think I need.

Are you looking at a hard or soft cover? Soft cover I thought were sized to cover say 31" to 33". If it's a soft cover I'd think you'd be ok!

Tell your wife you need bigger tires.

You shouldn't cover your OLD SPARE-you need a spare, the SAME SIZE as your ground tires--no cover, because it should be included in your tire rotation-

If you get a tire cover it should be the one offered with your tire diameter --AT THE UPPER END OF THE OFFERED SIZE"-otherwise

If the BOTTOM isn't already slit-slit it and tighten after installing, you can hold the two sides together with a small clamp--nobody can seeit anyway !!
