Smashed my Steering Stabilzer last weekend..

Did some wheeling last weekend on Fathers day, and pushed myself to some harder stuff (probably pushed to hard)

Well, smashed and bent the steering stablizer. Along with loosing a wheel weight, it made it difficult to drive home. Called a friend that was with us (he left before we did), and he was kind enough to turn around and load us up his trailer!

Anyway, here is the the old one looks like:

The new one (a little small, but taken with Droid X):

Some say I have A.D.D but, Oh look.. a chicken!!

That is one tiny stabilizer!

Good that you flipped it. Much better location!

I went with Poly after bashing mine.

I would have, but the wheel is (was) so far out of balance without that weight, that it actually bounced while driving. The faster I went the worse it got. I am in the process of looking for new tires and wheels.. Been looking at the new Falken Wild Peaks with Pro-Comp 152s (flat black), in 16 inch.

What the hell were you using as a weight... a cinder block?

Wow that sound more like a bent to hell wheel than threw a weight!
Or bent to hell axle if it was a rear.

That sucks. When you get your new SS, be sure to pick up one of these:
