Just ordered a Dirty Dog 4x4 Pet/Cargo Divider Net

My dog is getting too big to stay in the back of the JKU now. He's big enough that he just climbs over the back seat and ends up trying to get into the front seats.

So I bit the bullet and ordered one of these from Dirty Dog 4x4...

With this divider I can now put the dog in the back and still fold down the back seats for a level surface to carry other gear.... or if I want the dog up front with me I'll put the gear in the back and let the dog stay on the folded down back seats.

Note: Pic is from their website.

I looked at the safari straps version but I liked the way the the Dirty Dog net straps to the roll bar for added strength and the fact that it goes completely from side to side, leaving no openings.

2010 Rubion Unlimited, 17x8 Ultra Drifter wheels, Goodyear Duratrac 285/70R/17 tires, Ace Rock Rails, River Raider Evap Skid plate, Smilin Bob's Breather Extension Kit, Dirty Dog 4x4 Cargo/Pet Divider, IPF 920H4 JK Headlights, JK-RIGRIP front A-pillar grab handles, custom front grill screen, Daystar Upper Dash Panel

Can you snap a picture on how the covers the gap between the tub and the seat? My gsd fits through that gap and ends up in the passenger seat.

I just ordered it so I haven't recieved it yet... but I think this pic (from the manufacturer's website) pretty well shows what you are asking.
Its a pic of the net looking from the front seat to the back. As you can see the net follows the curve of the rear wheel well and goes right to the side of the removable top.

I got a sneaky boxer that squirms between the roll bar and window.. slippery , like a weasel.. maybe you can post some pics so I can see if this would work for me... I'm at my wits end with the little fuckstick laughing at me from the drivers seat when I get out..

I have one of these for my pit and he too can be a sneaking bastard but hasnt made it past this. It creates a good tight seal on all edges to keep him back there. I'll try and grab some pics if I think about it.

I was thinking about doing the same thing. i couldnt pull the trigger on the cop version of the cargo netting.. way over priced IMO.. the smittybilt is the right price.. but i heard they fall apart just from driving on the freeway. I have a 120 bulldog and a 90lb doberman that like to kill things so the netting has to stand up to them jumping into it. I think I should offer to do stress testing on everyones cargo netting products.

Also.. Dane at Dirty dog is a good guy to deal with for products.

Not sure what your talking about... Am I missing something that smitty makes for this? I didn't see it on their page.
Edit I think I see what your saying... I am looking for a divider not a top.

I dont think smittybilt makes a cab divider... they make the c-res (cargo restraint) netting. that will keep your dog in the jeep.. just not out of the front seat.

I went with the safari strap version. Should have gone dirty dog, I have 90 lbs of Labrador that still seems to slip through between the net and rear side windows. I added an extra Velcro strap from home depot that slows him down but he usually still banged to get through. Now I put a chest harness on him and attach a short lead to the sport bar. He can move around the back but that's it.

Howdy!!! Man, that's exactly what I've been looking for to increase storage space, cargo retention (for safety reasons), and keeping the dogs (or bitchy girlfriends) in the back!!!

DirtyDog makes a version that goes behind the front seats also. I have both for my Jeep.
