M101A1

Picked it up local. Great shape. $650.00. Not titled yet. That may or may not be a bitch. I have the bill of sale and government liquidation document. I can not even tell when I am pulling. The rear of the Jeep does not sag at all. Pulls very easy and true. The Pintle is super strong. I may adjust it again to level the ride but it looks close. Bella says it is OK.

Nice score. It would look really nice in white with black camo to match your JK. I have a JK that looks like yours. Have fun.

Ya, with yours I would pick up a 3k lb axle, 5 on 5 hubs and electric brakes and toss some same size tires as your JK on it That in itself would unfat it and you would also have brakes

someone in the for sale section is selling a 2wd front axle lock the steering and run THAT. you could even link it in a trailing setup with leftover parts in your garage
stock links, track bar, shocks, springs. Make it a "radius arm" link setup by welding the upper links to the lowers.

lock the steering with no toe and tie the stock drag link to a solid mount on the axle.

oh ya

Congrats on the new trailer. It can haul stuff and become a camping home if you want. I think you should do some paint work to really make it a JK trailer.

If I had the skill, I would paint the Jeep Olice Drab and leave the trailer as is. Seems like I have some project decisions to make. In the meantime, I will be using it to haul chit for the house. First up will be redoing the electrical. Then registration. Beyond that....................... we shall see.

Question What are the differences??

Does someone here know the differences between the M101A1, and the M101A2?

I've Googled this, but as yet have not found the answers.

Respects,

Richard
