Transporting Soft Top Inside Hard top

Im almost sure Ive seen a thread somewhere around here where someone asked if you can transport a soft top frame in the jeep with the hard top still on, but I cant find anything on it. anyone ever carried a soft top frame in their jeep with the hard top still on? I feel like when you buy both tops with the jeep off the lot at the dealership thats how it comes, but Im not sure. Im going to pick one up next weekend and dont have anywhere to store my hard top yet.

this is for a 2 door by the way. thanks.

My unlimited came with the soft top inside. I put the soft on last summer. Left it off when I put the hard top back on in the winter cause its a pain having the soft in the way when opening the back gate and window up.

there is a sticker on the factory packaging stating that if the soft top is not removed the warranty will be voided on any wear incurred by the tops rubbing together........

but i didnt see them rubbing when i picked up me jeep from the lot....just sayin'

When I got my 4dr it came with both tops installed (soft top down). The only issue is that it is a pain in the ass trying to get anything in or out. Having the soft top still on cuts your door opening in Half. Yes you do have to lift the hard top to remove the soft top.
