Trail Rated

So today I got to meet the guys and hang out at their facility who do the testing on Jeep vehicles for the Trail Rated badge.

I didn't get to run the course, but I am trying to get them to show it to me.

They don't sugar coat anything and run the vehicles into the ground.

I would think they should turn it into a marketing blitz and invite anyone who wants to see. Where was the facility?

I don't know, we've had a few "puddle jumpers" here lock their engines up in a few inches of water

That's awesome definitely want to see some pics

The rubicon is a 29 km. river in northern Italy. "Crossing the rubicon" is a popular idiom meaning to pass a point of no return. Originating from Ceasaer's 49 BC crossing of the river, which was considered an act of war

No pics from the facility, I was there for the military and no cameras allowed.

Its out in BFE Nevada.

I talked to some of their engineers and they said Jeep came out there once and that was it. If they used some of the routes I went on, then you all would be disappointed.

I should be back out there a few more times and try to get some more info from them, but it was not as cool as I thought.

Pretty sure BFE nevada is everything but Reno and Las Vegas

Are you hinting that they might classify any non-paved road as a trail?
