Already missing my JK

Well it's official. I already miss my JK. It's been at least 3 hours now that I left it at the shop.

Course the shop is Nth Degree Mobility and my JK is getting fitted with a new Nth 4+ JK lift.

It will be at Nth for a week while they fit, remove, fit, remove, fit, take pictures for the installation manual to get it all ready for you soon to be Nth Degree lifted JK's.

In the meantime I am missing mine so be sure to post up a bunch of pics of yours!

What sort of lift?

Is it going to be just spring and arm replacements or is it a long arm kit?

Are they doing the diff sliders like on the TJ?

Dogleg lower control arms, etc?

It's a short arm. But it will be "upgradeable" to 6" long arm down the road as they expand their JK line up. It's called a 4+ lift because of the upgrade ability as this is the intro kit into their suspension products. It is still in final stages of prototyping and what I've seen was straight arms. At least for now, again the kit is designed to be upgradeable so as you want to, and funds allow and with maximum use of already purchased products. I'd imagine that doglegs and sliders will be down the road along with a JK Tummy Tuck and some protection plates.

That's pretty snazzy that it's upgradeable. Seems like they are taking the same direction as they did with their TJ products. I am still unsure about how much lift will give you room for x amount of tire. From what I have seen/heard 4" lift for 35s is a little high. I'd rather have more tire and less up travel, but I guess it all boils down to personal preference. Besides there really is nothing wrong with a little sawzall action, or if you want to get fancy some tube fenders and high clearance (or comp cut) corner guards. Nth 4" + Staun Internals + 35s = Michael's JK is getting pimped hahaha .

Heck Ya!

Now I just need it back to install the new nodular steel diff covers and some rock lights. Oh and my Shrockworks stubby front bumper should be here on Wednesday so I get to install that and the PowerPlant. I would love to install the 5.13's before I go to Moab but I think I am out of time and will just run the 4.10's until I get back.

They seem pretty similar to the crane knuckles. I wonder if they are the same molds . On Pirate4x4 there was a thread about how crane went out of business, but I called Raingler and they said that Crane products were still in production. Weirdness. None the less looks like a pretty cool design.

Crane under new ownership

My name is Joshua Lowenstein, I purchased Crane High Clearance May 07, now called Crane Hi Clearance.
We are fully in production of all lines and a few new ones.

Until I learn more about how to be a vendor on this site, I'd rather not break any more rules than I already have.

Crane is back, parts are in stock.
Email me for more info.

Welcome Josh. As long as you have good intentions, I don't think anybody would care if you went ahead and talked about your products. This site is not as anal as others. There are some great people on here, but we're somewhat unsupervised, which is the way we like it. Try to get in touch with Lance or MichaelW. They should be able to hook you up.

Any progress?

I have been taken...

I just looked at the date on the original post. I thought Michael had taken it to AEV to refit the Nth lift. How disappointing to realize this thread became all about Crane dif covers. Sorry MW.
