Locking the Doors When Doors Are Off...

Is it just me or do you guys lock your doors when you have them off? I don't know, maybe it's just that little bit of extra security that makes me sleep at night.

Hijack, derail, and runaway at will

Generally speaking, I don't lock them when they are off.....as it would require me to leave wherever I am at and drive ALL the way back home.

Do I set the alarm when they are off? Sometimes.....yes.

I have that same problem. My wife is notorious for sending me to the store right after I take the doors off. I would go to the store and out of my OCD I would go to lock the doors...needless to say I would have to go all the way back home before going into the store because I forgot to lock the friggin doors!!

From now on I just leave the doors on!

I click the key to lock them but I doubt that they lock because there is no power source

FWIW - that does lock the tailgate.

Anyone ever lock the doors before reinstalling them, look at the Jeep and realize that the last door that was reinstalled effectively locked them out?

Yeah, me neither...

I hit it on the key as I have my hood pin switch tied in to the right front door trigger, when the doors are off it works off of voltage sensing and the horn will go off, pointless probably but e for effort...

I lock because it locks the tailgate, which pins down the cubby door, which holds my amp and other junk...
