this thing is pretty flippin sweet! what kind of price would we be looking at?

I met a wild-eyed spinster on the back of a bus
She asked if there was any part of her I'd like to touch
When I told her "Yer nuts!" she got mad at me
And lectured on female anatomy...

this is a very cool idea, especially since there's a shit ton of people that i know and see that aren't running a full size spare on the back. it's great! i would definatley purchase if the price is right. are you guys going to make it so like the rotopax jerry cans will work with this as well?

Really cool, love it. If you could incorporate or option a license plate mount on the outside I'd be thrilled.

if you really wanna make it slick, incorporate loops on the bottom to run the cb cord through so it can feed back through the stock opening without a bunch of wire ties or loose cable. that could make for a very nice clean package

At this point, we don't know exactly. It seems as it will about $220.00 + options (license plate with bolt LED, 3 logos, CB mount, High Lift Mount, etc.

We will have a meeting today to offer an introductory price (discount) for forum members and even more discount for the guys that add cool features and option ideas.

License plate is coming, it will be an option among other things. We think with this product, the sky is the limit. The challenge is making it modular, functional and affordable with out sacrificing quality.

Thanks for the interest people, and keep the ideas coming.

Light Tabs would be slick for rear lights

You could make like square cutouts on each side to mount some Rigids

Not cheap, but I think that it would be worth it (IMO). Will custom logos be available on this as well? If you incorporate a license plate mount on the outside I'm in 100%.

Will this be coming with lockable tie down straps/bar? That's $38.00 worth of gasoline at todays prices plus the price of your can o choice, cant have them walking off.
Is it going to be painted/powder coated/or?, an option of color match paint would be a nice option but not cost effective for you, so maybe a in the raw option for those of us wanting to color match.

Aluminum or steel? Interested.
Any optional water jet/laser cutting? would not mind our spikes tactical spider cut in there somewhere.

Sorry for all the questions, this is something i was looking into having made but you nailed it.

Robert

Yes, we are going to Jeep Beach (As spectators) in May with a prototype on both of our JKs. Next year we are planning to go as Vendors, we were too late for this year's registration .

Robert,

Excellent questions....
- Regarding Lockable tie downs: We are working on a system that will lock, not only the jerry cans (with your gas in it ), but the high lift as well.

- Color: The default is black minitex powder coat, if anybody wants it, to be color matched, we can mail the piece in raw metal form. The client will be in charge of finding a local paint shop.
Note: the cost of the powder coat will be substracted (-$25).

- Aluminum or steel: For now, we have it in steel, but definitely in the future, aluminum will come. Personally, I'm big fan of weight savings.

Laser or water jet not offered at this time.

We are very flexible regarding the configuration of any of our products. What we mean by this is that anybody can remove or replace features at the time of ordering.

Yes, License plate will be standard in our revised design and it will be included in the price .

We are sorry you feel that way, I think you missed the part we are "designing and prototyping" and YES! we are very proud of our designs. We hope you find a product that meets your budget. Jeep Wranglers have a wide range of options, from very affordable to quite pricy.

Great sketch!....and thanks for the input. Your design won't work due to the placement and foot print of high lift. We found a way to incorporate it into the design and this will come as standart feature.
