Not too much to show but I thought I'd share. Not your standard replacement rotors I will be painting the calipers too but as most of you know it hasn't been too warm in NJ!

What rotors are those? Any improvement? What's the deal with all those retainer clips?

BrakeMotive Rotors w/Powerstop Pads. My husband orders his brakes on ebay from the same guy every time. He wanted to make sure my JK stopped good because he keeps adding stuff to it. They are much better, my husband swears by them, I thought he was just saying that so he can buy cool looking brakes! That was until I almost got whiplash the first time I hit the brakes, once he put them on! I'm not sure why those clips are there, they were on there with the old rotors so he put them back on. He said he can't imagine they do anything but they were there to begin with.

The washers/clips are apparently oem lug retainers, which need to be removed with most aftermarket wheels and wheel spacers.

So the JK's braking was really noticably better?

Can you give us a link to the vendor or his ebay listing?

Thanks,

JPK

Good to know.

Yes, they are much better. I would be the first to say if it was a waste of money but he was right!

Here is the link.

If I was not supposed to post that link, I apologize in advance.

I just searched the type she said they put on and found this vendor on ebay. Looks like its the same stuff. I'm debating putting a new set on myself. Thanks for the info.
