SPod is good for people who are running a winch, a lot of lights, selectable lockers, onboard air, etc.

compressor, lights x 3, 2 open for future lockers or cb or lights. John recommended not to hook up winch to it to me.

For me it was nice to have a simple hook up for everything I needed.

2 right now. I knew I wasn't going to fill all the switches up right away, but they are there for later. I have bumper, windshield and rock lights, then compressor.

I got the pressure gauge on the panel too for when I add a tank down the road.

So far just the Viair compressors and the power cables for the winch. Soon though I'll add windshield lights, front roof rack lights (long range) rear roof rack lights (flood), and rock lights. Eventually I might just have to get another sPOD for a welder and whatever other stuff I can think of.

I just got the thing and installed it yesterday and already I'm wanting a second one. That's bad.

I got two Viair 450C compressors. I origianlly wanted to get an Oasis Extremeaire, but decided that it was just too damned big to mount anywhere practical. My front and rear bumpers have integrated air tanks, about 3 gallons each. I have a 2.5 gallon tank that I may add underneath later if I relocate the evap canister.

For now just hooking up my HID lights and rock light set. But when I go D60s I'll have ARB lockers / oba. May change my CB setup and run it through there as well. Outstanding quality on that sPod

1. ARB compressor
2. Windshield lights
3. Bumper lights
4. Nav lights
5. Allocated to locker (to be installed next month)
6. Winch

If I need to open one up, I'll move the Nav lights, they are just interior LED, so they can easily be put on their own switch/relay.....

So you can hook up interior LEDs? I have a superwinch, should I hook it up to the sPOD?

The sPod is probably one of my favorite things I have added so far. I dont have lockers yet, but I have my kc lights and compressor along with in cab pressure going through the spod and it makes things neat and easy to connect.

Grizz;

Hell man, you can get damn near anything hooked up to the sPOD....

I have my interior LED's on there just for convenience sake to use up a switch till I need it (later) for something else.....

Winch? Completely up to you. Ya don't have to have a "kill switch" for your winch, but you can if you wish.....

Where did y'all get your interior LEDs? And what would be the advantage to having it hooked up to the spod?

Just grabbed the generic (green for me, thanks) sets that are available in the Ricer section of your local Pep Boys/Auto Zone/O'Reilly's etc.... and cut them to the length I wanted based on location and desired brightness. Cheap and work well. You can find Write-ups on them if you look....

Advantage to having them on the sPOD? Eh, convenient at the time, but they would be the first thing "Un-sPOD'd" when I need that sPOD slot for something important.....
