Stock to weekend warrior

Bought my '08 this past August and 7 months later got it where I want it (for now)

Stock

2.5" Rough Country BB

285/70/17 Duratracs, and a little window tint

4 tires were expensive enough, I'll hide it with a cover eventually

My ground clearance changed as follows:
Rear dif 9 1/2" to 10 1/8"
Front dif 10 1/4" to 11"
T-case skid plate 9 1/2" to 13"

Taking a ride on April 9th with SMJC so I'll get to see how well it works.
If I disconnect the sway bars will I have any rubbing issues? (no wheel spacers, stock fenders, RC brake line extensions)

08 "X", RC BB, 33" Duratracs, Coast 1310 front, Hellfires, Woods evap relo.

Looks good.. I wouldn't cover the spare. Put a wheel lock on it, same as the rest of the wheels.

I thought about wheel locks, but how many key combinations are really out there? Seems like anyone else with wheel locks could use their key to get mine. Or am I mistaken.

Generally, it isn't the people with keys you have to worry about...

Nice!

I've never been a fan of yellow, but yours looks great. I love the new style hard tops.

I think yours looks good, for among other reasons, because it doesn't have a bunch of shit on it. It just looks like a really cool Jeep...and the lift fits it perfectly. If anything, I'd maybe just add a small (3/4" or less?) spacer in the front to level it out...to me that makes a Jeep look "big"...regardless of the amount lift. (At least in the photos it looks like the front is lower...like they are stock.)

If it were me, I don't know that I couldn't resist not cropping that front bumper, either. But that seemingly innocent step could lead you down a dark path of chronic financial depression...if Jeep ownership hasn't done it too you already in the past. I don't know about JK bumpers...but sometimes an off-road trip will crop the plastic ends off your bumpers for you.

Spare tire covers are just a PITA IMHO, and take away from the Jeepness. A wheel lock won't keep your junk from getting stolen, but they will deter the jackasses....just get a cheap set from the local auto parts store. It's kinda like a car alarm or home alarm sign in your front yard...some loser thieves are just to lazy to bother....there's just too many easier targets out there. You don't want them TOO hard to remove...because you'll probably lose the key in a bog one day anyways.

Awesome Jeep!

Thanks for the compliments, I'm very happy with it!
The lift spacers for the front were taller, but I swear some days the rear still looks higher. Good thought on the lazy theives, dad always said locks just keep the honest people honest.
