Looking for BFG 255/80R17 Mud Terrains and American Racing Mojave Wheels.

Hello All,

I have been shopping for American Racing Mojave wheels and BFG Mud Terrain KM2's in a 255/80R17. I want to go with the tall (but not too tall) narrow look. I am going to drive around in Canada and Alaska on a trip this summer and don't want 35's, so don't knock me cause I am going with small tires.

I am just wondering if anyone has seen any deals on these latley. I am looking for a set of 5. Best price so far with shipping and mounting and balancing has been 4 wheel parts. I may even be able to save the shipping if I drive 2 hours (need to go to Seattle anyways) and pick them up. They want $2284.60 for the set of 5. Is that good?

D.

Now I am leaning towards 285/70-17. Same height, one inch wider, but still less than 12 inches wide.

That's a lot of coin. Check with Marcus from River City Offroad (he's a vendor here) and I'm sure he would beat that price for you.

Why don't you pick up a set of Rubicon take-offs? Most of them go for $500-$800 and they are the tires you want and are about 32.6" diameter.

FWIW, the Mojave rims are weird looking in person. I wouldn't get them.
