It's pretty beaten up. Good from far away.

EDIT: Upon second inspection, that thing is beat to shit. Everything is scarred and rusted in the undercarriage, the exterior has a bunch of scuffs and scratches, and the rear leaf springs are just a head-scratcher. I realize the money into it should justify 60K, but not for me, even if I had that kinda cash under the mattress.

It sucks trying to recover the money you put into a build. Good luck with the 60K.

Because they wheeled it at events. It is a very capable jeep that I've watched do some gnarly trails.

this is Kevin's JK. he had the leaf springs installed since he was towing a trailer to the events before they bought the motorhome. it worked great for them. it has made many trips to cali, moab, and such. at times they were towing a trailer behind it for vendor shows.

this JK was the insperation for "CAIN".

its a sweet ride and performs great off road. its not a show jeep. 4ws used it to showcase their products and their work. we all know if you wheel your jeep it will be scratched and skid plates dented. they did their job and protected the JK.

is it worth 60K, sure. I would pay that. 6.1 Hemi, atlas transfer case, solid D60 axles, and all the other mods 4ws had done to it. they selling it to start a new project.

It looks like a sweet machine and I am a new Jeep owner so here's my 2 cents . I have been a preformance enthusiast of many vehicles for the last 20 years and any "well" used vehicle is worth about half when you sell it. I think the 60K is much more than half even at full retail.

What's wrong with leaf springs? There's still many capable rigs running leaf springs without an issue. Sometimes simple is better.

I don't think there's anything wrong with leaf springs off road, but when the top of the line for JK's is rear coilovers and everyone raves about their performance on- and off-road, leaf springs fall short.

For the exception of towing/heavy loads, coils are much better in every respect.

Looks like a very nice rig, buuuut, if you went and bought a simple X low-miles that has never been off-road, you can build the same thing for less money with all new parts and warranties. They are flat-out asking much more than what its worth. You add mods to your Jeep because its what you want, not because you think its going to make your vehicle worth 2x the value of a new one. Who knows, maybe someone with money to burn will bite.
