Full ESP disable

I know there have been a ton of threads about this, and I don't know how many people check the writeup library, but I have found out some good info for us 2007 Rubicon owners that are frustrate by the ESP.

They better ALL be checking it!

Hey that's cool to know you can have the firmware updated. Glad they figured it out for you.

Didn't I cover that in post 11 in that thread?

Or are you saying that due to the firmware, the flash won't work?

Worked on my '07 but it's a Sahara.

Due to the fact the 07 firmware works fine in our jeeps, it does not need to be upgraded. If you want to be able to do the steering wheel turn and ESP button hold procedure, you have to have your older (2007) software upgraded, otherwise (as I found out) the procedure will not work.

Not sure what flash you had done.

i think what he's getting at, is that if the TIPM has the old firmware, the flash on the TSB wont work... which makes sense. i had the flash done, but it will not work on my '07 rubicon.

Exactly. But the ABS and ECM need to be updated along with the TIPM.
