STUPID people driving into wilderness areas w/o any provisions and getting stuck

I am so tired of hearing about people driving out into the wilderness, getting their vehicle stuck and not having any preparedness provisions! And to top it off, this couple are BOTH diabetic. And drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

At least they did have their insulin.

So many things we don't know about this. It doesn't seem like they were out wheeling. Just taking a scenic drive in the mountains.

I wonder just how capable their Grand Cherokee was. Heck, I think it was probably 2wd the way the article read. Otherwise, the should've been able to get out if it was as simple as the back tire being stuck in a rut.

Anyway, we'll never know 'cause the article is so vague.

They're probably lucky to be alive, though.
