Sidewall gouge - repair or leave be?

Damn! Only 1300 miles on my KM2s (37x12.5.x17). Got it on the first run w/ them... The deepest part of the gouge/nick/whatever is about 1/8 in. I've noticed it is starting to spider too.

How thick are the KM2 sidewalls? Is this even large enough of something I need to be concerned with? Anything that should be done , or just live with it?

The KM2 sidewalls are polyester 3-ply construction.

I would keep an eye on the tire pressure, and as long as there isn't any bulging or change (visible belts, etc) at the site of the gouge, then I would keep rolling with it.

Throw some soapy water on it (or some snoop) and see if it bubbles.... no bubbles roll with it... if it bubbles then patch it from the inside and roll with it.

If it bothers you make it a spare.
