Saw these at Wal-Mart last night, anybody have an experience with them? Tread pattern looks very familiar.

That is some pretty mixed feedback. Walmart's website isn't very user friendly so I can't tell what sizes they come in or how much they cost. But I didn't see them in a 285/70/17 so I can rule them out for me.

My local WM has them too. What I saw was a 245-75-16 load range E. too stiff for me.

Yeah I belive they only have up to 16"s.

From what I hear there not too bad, BUT If that the type of tire you want save a lil more for duratracs. I have yet to hear anything negitive about them.

I like the Duratracs, but for the same money I'm leaning towards the KM2s. My daily commute is 3 miles, round trip.

265/70/17 is the biggest made right now... took a look at them at wallyworld today... pretty damn aggresive for an "A/T"...

had them on the rear of my 96 (or is it 98) C2500. the sidewall was so soft it often made the truck scary on the road, interstate curves were wobbly, bumps in the road were sometimes unpredictable. that said they held their own in the mud. was leaving a pasture concert after a deluge and there were a few trucks (including lifted 4x4's) stuck in the mudhole that developed at the gate, i was able to drive right around them. however i would not get another set, based on the road manners.

they look good but i can't speak on longevity, truck broke down

No experience here. I saw those back in December and found that same review too... and others online that were pretty mixed. It's a Walmart only tire whatever that's worth.

I was tempted to try them but a local tire chain here just added a new store and was offering $100 off or $25 per tire. So I got KM2's instead for just a little more.

........My other hobbies include: Older cars and trucks; Spending money on unfinished projects, and continuing to not finish them...
