rear storage tub lid ???

what happens if it gets wet. i take it off when the top is off but then i have to take all my other stuff out of it.

It's just cardboard o MDF covered with that crap carpet material. It will probably warp and get all deformed.

Take it out and toss it. It offers absolutely ZERO security to your belongings inside

it will dry.

I have washed mine before soap and a power washer. leave it in the sun and its still good to keep stuff back there

Mine has mud stains all over it from sinking the JK in frog hole.... But its still holding up just fine... Keeps stuff from bouncing around back there... Pic for fun

Mdf? Mine it looks like some sort of plastic, need to look again I guess. It's been pretty sturdy with all the real heavy crap that I've had on it but no real water exposure.

I soaked mine in fiberglass risen, sanded is down and bedlined it. It holds up great!
