i have the smitty bilt tail gate g.e.a.r. and it's pretty useful. the pouches just snap onto the net that you will drill into your tailgate. and then i just went to harbor freigt and bought a roll of velco and velcroed some little flashlights and some other little gear. i have my foldable shovel inside one of the pouches as well as a first aid kit.

I've had the GEAR tailgate cover for about a year and I'm happy. I have almost all my tools in the large bag that comes with the kit, a fire extinguisher, flashlight and first aid kit. Haven't figured out what to put in the small GEAR bag yet. It's hard to beat the value.

The Springfield Solutions MPac also looks nice. I especially like the tear-away bags they sell.

I would recommend Vector Offroad tailgate table because its a table and has slots for molle straps and quick fists and anything else you can think off. Plus it is made from aluminum and comes with stainless steel hardware. Great product.

I like the Springtail/MPAC lineup, but I have a fab shop that specializes in commercial vending stands and they can manufacture me up similar panels to the MPAC system for much cheaper. I'm considering designing up some sort of quick connect panels that will mount to the back of the 2nd row seats, but can easily be removed for when I have the 4 legged mob in the back.

For the money, the gear setup is nice. If have reinforced edges that resist drooping compared to the one above. It's actually a quality Molle piece.

Here's mine.

I'm pulling my Springtail setup off today and will be putting up for sale in the classifieds. I love it but it interferes with the custom drawer I had built by TruckVault. Hit me up with a PM and I'll make you a great deal on it. It's in perfect condition, only slightly used.

Cheers,

Thanks, The knife is a Glock 81. I have beat on that thing for a couple of years and the blade is the same as the day I bought it. It has the same Phoshate coating that the pistols have, superior corrosion resistance.

I actually have 2 bottle openers, 1 portable, 1 hard mount on the driver's side near the latch.
