Rear Drive Line Boot

Ok, I tore the boot of my rear drive line this last week end, anyone replace this before? Is it possible to replace? Do you need to replace it?
Any feed back would be appreciated.

This is a thread on the front boot, I believe. Not sure if this relates to the problem/ questions you are having, but you may take a look at this first.

The boot that covers the two halves of the shaft will cause dirt to pit and damage the tube. If its the boot around the joint on the end of the shaft you need to check the joint for excessive play and keep an eye on it. That boot breaks down due to an increased drive line angle from a lift and from my and others experience the joint will fail soon after that boot goes. just my 2 cents

Well, I guess I'll see if the dealer will replace it and if not I'll start looking for an after market one. Any opinions on rear DS?
