I don't have any experience with the 12v trucklights, but I do with the 24v versions. The military uses them on several vehicles and I am assuming that is where the OP got them.....thats a NO NO!

I can tell you the 24v versions work quite well and are bright as hell when properly installed and aimed.

Just pics of the install or them installed? I haven't looked into them much, more so the getting 24v out of a 12v system, rather than the actual installation on a JK.

Pattern I get out of one high beam on 19v. Looks better than my redneck Hellas with hid bulbs!

I thought somebody on here "upgraded" to these from Deltas.... and then switched back to the Deltas because of a goofy beam pattern or something. Who knows, maybe I was high on something???
They sure look bright as hell!

Gotta love "acquired" items from Unknown Sources.

See what I did there?

It is nice having friends that play with lights all day.

Pretty sure I am going to pickup a pair of these to run and try out. 3a is more than enough for each light

Its been my experience with some LED technology that they do not throw light the same distance as say a HID light. Hopefully these are not like that. There was some feedback awhile ago about the Trucklites mounted in military vehicles overseas that didnt throw light the same distance as their crappy 24v halogen bulbed lights. So.....best of luck.

I had HIDs in my stock housings, way too much glare for the dark two lane roads here in Texas. I can't stand the look of projectors on a wrangler, look like a lizard or something...

I'll be sure to follow up on what I think of them, can't see crap as it is stock

Im running a 55w HID in my IPF H4 housings. They seem to have a pretty good cutoff. I have never been flashed by on coming traffic and I drive in it to and from work every day. The only people that give me grief are the ones directly in front of me......sorry folks.

I was that way in Vegas, didn't really worry about it. I was getting flashed by every 6th car or so (not trucks) on a given trip. That was with the stock housings.

true, we'll see how the pattern is on these leds. Hopefully they aren't too narrow of a beam.

They seem to get a kick out of them, 12v

ive always heard that the beam was too much of a spot pattern and not enough of a driving pattern to be effective on the road.

Yea that seems to be a certain possibility with the pattern. But I'll carry through and give them a shot. Will be ordering the step up converters soon so they can be run on something other than a drill battery!

Just bolted them in, direct fit which is nice.
