Leaking Coolant Temp. Sensors

Well, I figured out where my coolant was leaking from, it was the coolant temp. sensor. I just wanted to let you guys know because when I removed it, there was absolutely no sealant on the threads what so ever from the factory, so this might be a problem area on other jeeps as well. Just be careful if you ever have to remove it as the whole thing is plastic and i can picture them snapping off in the intake. Mine didn't leak when hot, but you could see it leaking on really cold mornings after sitting overnight.

They use pipe thread, so theres no oring on it. And if yours is leaking, you don't need to order a new one, just drain your coolant, remove the sensor, clean the threads off and put some thread sealant on.
