I believe Mopar sels the kit that the dealer would install just as if it was from the factory for like $250. I am thinking of this for mine too...

Yes it can be added. I did it to my 07 when I first got it. I think I bought mine off of Ebay, but that was back in 08.

I installed mine. cost was $225. I didn't have to have the dealer flash mine, but I've heard of some people having to get that done.

My 2 - In my 08 JK/Auto - with 315/r70x17 (33"appox) and 5.38 gears - Flat land - cruise works reasonable. Any head wind, rolling slopes - it saggs about 4 to 5 mph then kicks out of OD running what feels like WOT - up to set speed. Stock 4.10's was way worse. I get so I work the skinny pedal some myself to try and stay closer to set speed. Or lock out OD till on flat land. Just so you kinda know what to expect...

Was it hard to install? Directions look simple. Take off steering wheel replace collar plug in wires reinstall.

Yup. There about it. Piece of cake. Took less than a half hour to do.

Do you have any tips for getting them off?

A stubby flat head screwdriver with a pretty wide blade on it inserted from the back and then turned will release the clips pretty easily. It will make sense as soon as you try to do it.
