Any update? Did you start a project.

After my last camping trip and the thought of the future ones to come this summer, I am highly interested in taking something like this on.

Maybe I'll find a use for the tanks on my AEV bumper...

Here is a link to Adventure Trailers' shower page which shows a couple of options including a heater exchanger utilizing the Jeep's cooling system for making hot water. http://www.adventuretrailers.com/pag...nd_enclosures/

My favorite though is the Zodi Extreme, which AT offers as well. Here is a link to Zodi which shows the Extreme and other options including a system which fits in an ammo box. http://www.zodi.com/

Check out Front Runner for a couple of unique water storage ideas (check out their JK roof rack too!) http://www.frontrunneroutfitters.com...Solutions-c47/

Solar Shower...
5 gallons, $22 USD
http://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Eleme.../dp/B000J2Q0T4

Throw it up on the roof/hood, they heat up pretty quickly, I use one like this on the boat/beach.

Use this with a propane supply, whether it be a 20lb tank or even the small camping canisters. You can attach it to any water spickett if your campsite has running water or use a portable sump pump in a 5 gallon bucket or your favorite mountain spring for instant hot running water.... This is one of my future toys for expo trips....

INSTANT LP - powered HOT water! Portable Tankless Water Heaters.

Portable Tankless Water Heater
An intense propane flame instantly heats water. There's no reservoir to deplete... as long as you feed in water, HOT water comes out.

* 80º to 150ºF adjustable water temp
* 20-lb. propane tank provides up to 18 hrs. of use, includes hose / regulator (tank not included)
* 2 D batteries for ignition (not included)
* Outdoor use only. 12 x 15 x 4"d. 10 lbs.

Deluxe Tankless Water Heater
Like the above, except with more power.

* Permanent installation (can't mount on vinyl siding)
* 20-lb. propane tank provides up to 12 hrs. of use when full.
* 32 x 14 x 8"d., 18 lbs.

Eccotemp® Power-vent Tankless Water Heater
Only uses energy when you turn on the hot water. 74,000-BTU LP gas burner delivers 3 gallons of hot water per minute.

* Safe, electronic ignition system
* For indoor installation with safe, efficient power ventilation. Stainless vent kit included
* Digital thermostat and temperature display
* Precise temperature and water-flow adjustment
* Uses gas only when hot water is on
* Sleek modern design... it's just 15 x 4 x 24"h., weighs only 20 lbs.
* Plugs into standard 120V electric outlet with UL-listed cord.

These are some great setups; maybe I can talk my wife into camping with me...

Thanks to the OP for asking and thanks to those who have contributed thus far

I'm getting some great ideas from this thread.
