So if you had $10k ...

If you had $10k to spend on stuff, would you ...
a) Save up a few more $$ and do a hemi install? (maybe $13k doing it myself)
or
b) Buy a ripp supercharger(or not), pro rock, como rear axles, maybe a psc steering upgrade if there is any funds left.
c) Something else ....

Already have bumpers/37's/gears/winch etc. This thing is a 3 day a week driver, needs to be reliable.

Depends on how long it takes you to save 10K.

If its not long, get a hemi save up again and do all the other goodies - wheels, tires lift etc...

If 10K is some serious savings, I would go with an SC (Avenger in my case ) and spend the rest on the other stuff.

Hemi's are cool and I would love to have one in my jeep (who wouldnt) but realistically, there are a lot of people who cant afford to do a Hemi swap. If you have the funds to do so, more power to you, you'll have one bad @ss Jeep. But if it were me, I'd do the Ripp supercharger and spend the other $5000+ on other parts. 1) the Ripp will give you a big HP gain and a lot more low end torque...no it wont be EXACTLY the same as a Hemi, but it'll be pretty close for a V-6. 2) you'll have a much more capable Jeep as you can spend a decent amount of cash on suspension/axles/etc etc. to make it a well rounded performer and wont JUST have a bunch of HP but then just have moderate parts throughout the rest of the Jeep (unless that's your goal, in which case a Hemi would probably be the best choice). Hope this helps.

In 5 weeks I will have 20 G's cold hard cash to do with what I choose ( gotta love that xmas bonus ) so I am in a big debate with myself right now. And I haven't even began to think about my tax return.

I am kinda liking the beer and girls idea a lot though, EMG006 you might be on to something there.

RK 3.5 X Factor mid arm
37x12.50 Nitto Trail Grapplers

Super charge it. Not sure which I go with as I can't afford one so I haven't research them. I know RIP is local so that is a plus for them.

If I had 10 grand to just blow on the jeep. I think the ripp supercharger and psc steering would be my choice. I would go this route since I am hoping to do a diesel swap much later down the road with my JK.
But I have an issue plunking that much money at once down on my jeep even though when I try to calculate what I've spent on the jeep in the year and a half I have owned it and stopped counting when I hit $15,000.

Supercharge it with some extra goodies. No brainer IMO. A Hemi would be badass, but it'd be more like $20k.

Too many things I could buy with 10K.

New lift kit.

New front bumper, winch.

Better rocker and side armor.

Soft doors.

Nicer looking rims.

Upgraded front end.
