Duratracs on the beach

Does anyone drive Duratracs on the beach? How do they perform as a sand tire? The only negative comment I hear about them is a thin side wall. How has your sidewall held up? The white lettering on my stock Duellers has been just about worn off by the abrasive sand.

No problems with mine at all on the beach. Sugar sand and all. No problems aired down either.

I can't comment on handling in the sand, but the sidewall strength will not be an issue at all for sand. It may take off the white lettering, but just go white in.

I've been very happy with my Duratracs over the last couple months.

I went to Outer Banks, NC in June, and didn't have a problem at all driving on the sand.

They will surely out-perform the stock Duelers, if that is your benchmark.
