Feedback for new wheels

I hope this is the right forum.

I need new tires, but haven't decided what size, that's in another thread.

I'm curious what response and feedback I could get on possible wheel purchase with new tires. I have 17 x 9 black Raceline on now. I want to stay under $300ea - 5 wheels.

Here's my first pick (old school chrome) Raceline. It's my age showing. 🙂

Second choice ProComp black, seems every Jeep is going black and or with some polish on the wheels

<ahref="http://s1243.photobucket.com/user/sprkeng56/media/Mobile%20Uploads/Capture_2019-11-28-10-14-34_zps6tgpezs1.png.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/gg554/sprkeng56/Mobile%20Uploads/Capture_2019-11-28-10-14-34_zps6tgpezs1.png" border="0" alt=" photo Capture_2019-11-28-10-14-34_zps6tgpezs1.png"></a>

I use my Jeep daily in winter and for fishing, hunting, camping in spring/summer/fall I don't do rock climbing, only fire trails.

Your feedback will be valuable.

Thanks.

Unfortunately your pictures are not showing and with the ad block setup I have, I'm unable to see the pictures going directly to Photobucket as they have and ad block blocker. If you can find a way to get the pictures to show, I'll gladly give you my opinion.

Why change wheels if you need new tires? Looks?

New wheels yes for looks and partly because I need tires and I've had issues with the TPMS so might as well replace those.

What does the TPMS have to do with needing new wheels? Are you looking at a package deal delivered to you?

Will Scarlet you have 34" tires on your Sahara. You must have 4.10 gears since it's a Rubicon model? How's that size tire working on your Jeep?

the Dirtman

Of course I'm looking for good deals. If a dealer gave my an offer for wheels, tires and sensors I would strongly consider it. 4WheelParts has given me a price without a sensor. But as I told them I'm undecided on the tire size.

I don't rock-crawl nor look for obstacles to climb, so I don't need Bead Locks although they do look good on a Jeep

I have discovered the 34" tires I have actually measure 32.25 inches to have the speedometer correct. Considering the factory mud tires measured around 31", it's really not that much of a difference. It's sad that BF Goodrich tires don't measure close to true. So the 4.10 gearing is not a hindrance for me.

FYI... if you strip out the image url (http://i1243.photobucket.com/albums/...psktvt25yw.png)

And use the image toolbar button and paste that URL into the box, your pictures will show up for everyone...

I've tried them all... Jeeps are still the best. (0||||0)

I switched over to Image Shack to images, it's one I used on a forum years ago.

I found the wheels I will most likely pull the trigger on after the holidays.
