5 point harnesses - who is using what

looking to move to 5 point harnesses, anyone with real world experience on what they have and their thoughts?

2 inch vs 3 inch, brands.... etc.....

3" Crow 5 point. I have run 2" in the past and would recommend against them. If you are looking at some with pads I would also make sure that you can remove them because they are bulky and get in the way on daily driving.

Some build info here:

3" Corbeau straps on my Corbeau seats.

I also prefer them over the 2". I do have the shoulder pads but just flip the shoulder straps back over the seat when daily drivin' with only the lap belt.

To me the critical choice is the locking mechanism. I'll only use the cam locks where ya simply rotate the cam 90 degrees and all the belts pop free.

Damn-near drowned one time when I ended up upside down in a creek and couldn't get outta the damned harness. Used the cam locks exclusively since then.

Carry on ...

My Trailer Queen don't ride on one ... it pulls one.
