Pull the belt off and see if it goes away. It's to hard to tell whats going on.

Yeah, sure, don't bother to introduce yourself . . .

. . . or give any details about your Jeep (what year, mileage, condition, etc.)

At least knowing what year or what engine you have would help us help you.

Oh, and . . . check for cracked exhaust manifold(s) if it's a 3.8L.

I think the 3.8 was not offered in 2015 Jeeps.

EDIT: also, I think you should have the courtesy to introduce yourself and the sense to give details if you need help.

does anyone listen to the replies of longtime members ?

OP & any other commentors who are visiting in panic mode due to ticking or whatever;
take 1-2 minutes. Introduce yourself ( Welcome Room thread)
then IDENTIFY YOUR YEAR, MODEL and MOTOR ( if you know wtf it is) or you won't be able to get more than general feedback.

The 3.8l is extremely different than the 3.6l .... guys like @ExWrench can help you but you gotta help yourselves a little here.

Just throw out random advice to random questions

I'll take bad head for $100 on the 2015 and the first one I'll take not enough oil for $200 since no idea which engine it is

I recently had an issue with a similar sound. It degraded to a check engine light. It was a cam phase. Replaced all 4 plus the timing chains. All better now.

yet another new person brings partial usefulness to the discussion ( hello, @Punkn - why not hit the Welcome Room and introduce yerself? You've been around since March ) Re: the cam being out of phase = did they tell you if you'd spun rod bearing ? This was a pre-2012 JK?

details, guys! We like details around here!!

FWIW, re: the OPs video noise ticking, doesn't that sound a lot like timing chains we've heard before?

J3ff n xwrench are just meanies.
We care a lot.
Post some pics of your rims. This will help us help you.
The 3.8 swap into the '15 is a very good thing. I heard Robbie was concerned his business would implode. (Except the danged ticking)
Please post some pics of how you did it. Got Carb certification?

Pop quiz, hotshot. There's a bomb on your jeep. Once the jeep goes 50 miles an hour, the bomb is armed. If it drops below 50, it blows up. What do you do? What do you do?

Trick question as the 3.8l JKU with 40x15x24’s and 3.55’s won’t do 50mph
