CMM Grab Handles in Phoenix summer

So I need grab handles for JKU. I have Grabars in my TJ and love them. Was thinking about Carolina Metal Masters handles for 2x the money. But I feel like they might get too hot in summer here in the Phoenix heat.

I could wrap them with hockey tape.

P.S. Not getting the CMM handles that are like knuckles. They look like finger breakers if you slip.

Answered my own question. I'm gonna get the Grabars. CMM's are 2x the price and I'll have to wrap them for summer. Can't justify it.

Why the f does Amazon charge $20 in tax on these, when they're $159.

Went to Extreme Terrain, same 2 day shipping, $20 cheaper.

I'm out in va so the weather is not extreme but when its 90s, my cmm handles dont get that hot, maybe because aluminum doesn't heat up like steel. Az heat is insane, I dont think any type of metal will feel cooler than another.

Because there was a supreme court case last year that allows states to charge taxes on internet sales.

Aluminum doesnít store heat like steel.

My shifter in my Si required a sock lol
And my TJ has a Hurst handle that you canít grab on to without a shirt. Or You have quickly shift with a thumb and a couple finger then get your hand off.

I feel like for a couple seconds, you really have to fully grab a grab handle. And the grabars have the hard rubber cover.

This seems like a useless thread lol but thanks for your input

So are they charging double tax? Like origin + destination state? Iíve just never seen 13-14% tax rate anywhere.

I don't think they should be able to charge a double tax.

That hard rubber on the grab handle will probably not hold up.

Amazon taxes are a mess.
You will see the double taxation where a non-Amazon seller originates in a taxed state and sells in a taxed state. Supposedly it gets corrected on the back end and you get charged the correct amount, but I've yet to see it. I avoid buying on Amazon unless it's shipped and sold by amazon.

Jacking my own thread...

There appears to be taxation without representation to a minor degree. State A can still enjoy the benefits of money coming into their state with businesses based in their own state. Internet money from the other side of the country is still money coming in. Stimulates the local economy more than local walk-in traffic can. Taxes will be paid to the state for revenue. Youíre actually gonna have to give the dude a deduction if heís paying taxes to another state. Else itís double jeopardy and youíre hurting yourself on a local level.

Although the high court is ruling on it, itís a short-sighted cash grab. Some states are acting like other statesí businesses are preying on their citizenry.
