Tips on replacing JKU door hinges?

So my hinges have gone beyond bubbling paint on my O7 JKU, the paint is now coming off. looking at the torks bolts scares the hell out of me, I haven't had the best luck with these...

So, any tips getting them off without stripping them?

Also any recommendation on replacements? I've seen sets of black hinges for 2 doors, but only stainless for JKUs? Obviously I can get 2 sets

Who puts stainless on a Jeep?

any ways, as always, any input appreciated

Many, many years ago a wise old man (my grandad who ran the B52 parts program) taught me to take a punch and hit the center of any inverted bolt type with a 2-4lb sledge. You don’t have to go crazy on it, just one good smack.

Has never failed me regardless of age, paint, rust, etc.

If you don’t like the idea of the punch and sledge you can also pick up a fancy impact driver which applies the same principle but with a torx (or other) bit on the end.
