Regear from 3.73 to 4.88s

I have the 42rle with 33 inch Nittos. Is this the right gear choice? Currently turn 1800 at 70 and will be at 2500 rpm with 4.88s.

Have you seen this gear chart? Gives you a good idea of where you'll be for tire size and gearing. I'm assuming you have the 3.8L engine?

Thanks. I did see that one. I do have the 3.8L my tires measure 31.5 on the Jeep itself. 2514 at 70 mph. I won't go with a bigger tire and it'll be for daily driving. Out of overdrive with the 373s I would turn 3000 locked into 3rd at 70. That was probably a little bit towards the high side but I figured mid 2000 rpm would be a great range for the 3.8.

Yep, that'll be a good choice.
