Traction control problem.. maybe???

I have a 2007 4-door X with a 3in teraflex lift on 33's. The alignment has been done a couple of times to get everything straight. Last time it was done, the mechanic told me to have the ball joints checked out cause there was movement there. I've recently noticed than when going around corners sometimes the traction control comes on when obviously its not sliding or anything. Would the ball joints cause this? If so, would they still be under warrenty or would it forfit with the lift and tires?

Every warranty issue ultimately ends up the dealerships decision. So if you don't get the answer you want get a second opinion.
Why couldn't your mechanic check out the ball joints? Sure he knows what he's doing?
Just a thought.

On island here (Guam), I have yet to find a mechanic I trust. I'll be taking it to the jeep dealership here when I get back (in the navy, going out too sea) and will hopefully get it taken care of.

Talking

The dash light typically comes on (Other than when you lose traction...) if the steering is not centered...as it reads the slip angles wrong in turns.

Ball joints will not cause that light to go on.

I'd check the centering of the steering first...as that's the most LIKELY culprit.
