Cylinder 5 misfire

Hello all. My wife was sitting in road construction when the gas light went off, followed by the check engine light coming on. Hooked he computer up when she got home, Cylinder 5 Misfire. Any ideas on what caused it and what the remedy could be?

Could be a lot of things. Pull the spark plug and see if it is fouled. Could be spark plug wire, bad gas, injector issue, crankshaft sensor, coil pack failure.
Was there a stumble or noticable failure? Fill the gas tank, reset code n see if it happens again

I suggest this quite often and sometimes it works well in I'd'ing firing or other electrical problemeauxs. Pop your hood tonight in a dark area and start your engine. Look for electrical sparks which will be blue most times and most probably in the spark plug wires. Good luck.
