magnetic panel armor

Does anyone have real-world experience with magnetic armor protections? I'm thinking of getting the Smittybilt Mag Armor - 4wheelonline.com. They are made to help reduce scratches during off-roading. I'm leaning towards the Smitty brand because it is more inexpensive than the Rugged Ridge version and I like the rivet design along the edges.

Pat Harrison TrailSkinz | Skin It | Trail It | Protect It is a jko vendor.
His fit well and lots of guys who wheel the super-overgrown deactivated logging roads on the west coast like them.
Smitty and RR are knock-off junk like always but cheaper.
Pat is re-doing his website, facebook has a phone number https://m.facebook.com/trailskinz.

OP , I cannot lay-claim to having used Trailskinz magnetic armor but , as @coilrod referenced Pat and his solution(s) , I felt it worth mentioning that they are fantastic to do business with . I use one of their products ( A-Pillarz armor /led mounts /brush & limb risers ) & its built really well, they are very contactable and if I were shopping magnetic scratch prevention I would start with Trailskinz ; you'll see the others are imitations and copying their product . Just trying to help.

Thanks guys for the suggestion. I just checked the TrailSkinz, and I like their idea of offering various colors and designs. Right now I'm still undecided whether to get magnetic covers or not, since I've heard that they tend to collect moisture and dirt.
