Aussie in D44 Rear. which P/N?

Looking at a few websites for a rear Aussie and I come across a footnote on one site stating "Note: If you have Re-Geared your JK and have a new Carrier, use Aussie Locker Part Number XD-14430"

Compared to JK specific listing of part number XD-14480.

There is also a $100 price difference.

I bought my axle with 4.88 gears (was also told it was an LSD and I was wrong there lol) So mine has been regeared....but does that mean I need the 14430? How can I tell and what is the difference?

I've been running this Aussie for about a year with 4.88s. In my original open carrier.

excellent! I see that is the JK specific model. I am unsure of the note made on the website mentioned above calling for the other model if you have regeared and changed carriers. I bought this axle already geared and cant imagine anyone changing the open carrier.
