Engine stall rolling backwards

Anybody out there ever have a problem with the engine stalling when coasting backwards off a step incline while still in drive.
Also when backing down in reverse in 4 low the engine doesent seem to slow me down at all and I dont want to hit the brakes.Any input?

the slowing down with engine compression will depend on your gears and t-case. i have 5.13 gears with the 4:1 t-case and don't have a problem with it. but if you have the non-rubicon t-case and 3.73 gears, you'll have a lot less engine braking.

yeah, I have the same set up and there isn't a whole lot of engine braking unless I have it in first. Reverse is even worse cause thats usually higher.
