Smile Jeep Wrangler 2014 6th Gear

I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler 6 speed..and the only time I've used 6th gear is on the interstate and having to maintain a speed of no less then 65mph...any slight hill or slowing of traffic..i downshift back to 5...quite frequently so I really think 6th gear is unnecessary..just my opinion..my concern was not using 6th at all...will I damage the 5th gear...I mean if I go real fast like 75mph..yeah I could see using 6th..but I don't drive my jeep much past 60-65mph. Any opinions? Basically am I okay just treating my Jeep like a 5 speed?:

Should be good. I believe 5th gear is 1:1 ratio.

On small farm-to-market roads were speed limit is 60, I only use 5th gear. No 6th.

Keep RPM's in check and your transmission should be fine. I utilize 6th gear quite often on the hwy... not even close to 75mph. But to each his own. Just make sure your transmission isn't revving excessively.
