Side steps

I built these side steps for my jeep this week. Just wondering what fellow jeepers think of them. Though making them square was different.

They look good, a little low for me personally though.

What do you mean a little low. Ground clearance?

Yes, I also realize you might not need that clearance for what you do with your JK. It is hard to tell, looks like they are below frame rail.
For steps, they look good, and you made them.

I like how they look, would think as steps they'd stick out a bit more. The wife is 5'1, and her daily driven JKU is on 35's and a 3" AEV lift, so getting in and out requires more than just a lip for her toes... Anyway as I said, they look nice, and yes different from everyone else's tube rails (which I'll be going to soon enough)

O E your right about the step. I wanted to build rock sliders but the kids can't get in without a step. So I decided to bump it out a little to give them something to use. I personally don't use them but there is enough there even for me. It's hard to see in the picture though. Thanks for looking and commenting on them.
