Broken Tooth on Ring Gear

Need advice please. Found broken tooth on ring gear (rear). Put new gears in 25,000 miles ago. Don't know how long its been broken. Planning to got to EJS. Should I run it and change it later? Probably don't have time to get 5:38 ring gear shipped in and broken in by Friday. I would consider a whole new rear end but don't know where to get one right away. I plan on trailering to Moab. Is there a shop in Moab that might be able to fix me up Monday?

My best guess is that is a fracture from a shock load. Not really an indicator of the gear set being installed incorrectly or of defective gears. If it was me I'd do a thorough inspection of the pinion gear and the rest of the ring gear to check for any more damage. If no more damage is found I'd flush the rear-end to make sure all the metal fragments are out (so they do not do more damage) and run it during the trip to moab.
