bumper weights

Hihuys-

thinking of upgrading my front/rear bumpers from the stock ones i currently have. Question- Would a 100lb front bumper have an effect on my jeep- or make it significantly slower? I would assume it would have some effect, but wasnt sure if it would be tremendous.

Any experience is welcomed. I have a 4 door with a 3" lift and 35's. I have not regeared.

Thanks

yes it does have effect and it also will lower your front a bit. have someone who weighs 100lb sit on your bumper to see how much it sags. I notice when I pull my front winch which is fairly light VR10000S and winch plate my front feels better offroad.

100lbs is about the difference between a full tank of gas and an empty one.
If you feel the difference between empty and full when you leave the station, you'll feel the bumper. But, with the full tank, do you notice it the next time you drive it?

I added 1" coil spacers in the front to level it out

A 1"-1.5" spacer should make the front level with the rear. For a factory rake look, a 3/4" spacer is the answer.
