LivinLite Jeep Extreme Edition Camper

Does anyone have an experience with the "Jeep Extreme Edition" pop up Camper? I'm not looking for anything big or expensive just some to sleep in when out on the trail. I'm done sleeping on the ground so no tents!

Was thinkin' on startin' up the same thread. Got me a notion to buy one and paint it to match my rig and slap some matchin' 40's on it.

Specific'ly ... I'm curious how the tent part holds up in rain and wind.

What are the price and who are the dealers on these things?

I've always leaned towards a Jayco popup, but other options are always good. Especially if these are a bit easier to tow too.

The price is about $11,500 the one below is used for $9,500.

Personally I would say there are better options out there for that price. Especially if you are a DIY'er.

Go over to expeditionportal and have a look at what others do.

Here is a few of mine. As it sits I have ~$10K in it, but these trailers are like anything else you can spend as much as you want from a base trailer from Manley http://manleyorv.com/ to high-end adventure trailers http://adventuretrailers.com/

I'm just not interested in a trailer that I have to climb a ladder to get into.

If your looking for just some place to sleep and haul a few things look at popup trailers for motor cycles. One of them I have used is Bunk House when I pulled on. They have vestibules that can be added on to get out of the weather. Will probably need some mods done for of road use.
