Just dealt with customer service at our Jeep dealer about replacing the clock spring on our 2014. The dealer rep told me Jeep only warrants that part for 36,000 mi., we have 44,000 showing. He also told me the dealers are allowed by Jeep to extend the warranties for 12,000 mi., IF, the owner will pick up some of the labor. Cost went from $365 to less than $100. Don't know if this will help anyone else with any dealer warranty issues or not. But I thought you might like to know about the 12,000 mi. leadway.
