TPMS Sensor ?

Hi
I just purchase a new set of take off 2015 Sahara 255 70 18 tires and wheels and TPMS Sensor. my jeep is a 2008 Sahara with the same size. I install them on my jeep and know the tire TPMS Sensor light is coming on every time i start it. they are air up to 37 psi. does the 2008 carry a differ TPMS Sensor than the 2015 do I need to install the 2008 sensor for the light to go out.

Thanks

I think somewhere along the line, there was a change in the frequency of the TPMS sensors. Could be your problem.

Thanks for the reply I just don't want to brake down both sets of tires if I don't have to but if I need to do it I will swap sensor just trying to find out for sure before I change everything

Thanks

They switched TPMS in 2012 I believe.
And I don't think they are backwards compatible.
