Rust prevention on new Jeep

I just bought my 2016 Unlimited Sport and with winter coming I'm wondering what steps should be taken to prevent the inevitable rusting from driving on salted roads. I apologize if a discussion on this exists already, I did a search but most results were very old. I've paid Ziebart before to do a Chevy Truck and it rusted out anyway. Would it be worthwhile to do this to the Jeep? Any tips or advice on rust prone areas to concentrate on?

Thanks in advance!

Fluid film is well liked here

My JK has been through eight salty winters with no sign of body rot. Some driveline components have surface rust. That seems to be a planned protection.
I haven't done any undercoating; just wash it once in a while. Undercoating can make the body rust out quicker by trapping water, then preventing washing from flushing things clean.

1. keep it clean. Take as much time with the power washer under the jeep as you do on the paint. Im serious.
2. Touch up ALL rock rash/chips/scratches right away and carry touch up paint in the console.

If you don't want a rusty vehicle it will require more TLC and Grandmas Elbow Grease, its just the nature of metal in the elements.
