Smittybilt XRC fenders

Anyone installed these fenders by Smittybilt?

http://www.smittybilt.com/product/index/43.htm

If so, can you please post some pics of them? How much wheel coverage do they provide?

I can only find very limited pictures of these fenders. I like the fact that the fenders are very simple in appearance.

Thanks.

I am not sure about that, but I have seen them advertised in some of the Jeep parts catalogs for several months now.

That doesnt really mean anything though... I have seen parts advertised in catalogs for 12+ months before they even hit the market.

That could explain why I haven't seen many, or any, photos of the fenders around! Thanks for the info.

They are out: http://www.fortec4x4.com/07-up-wrang...er-flares.html

$399 - they look like crap IMHO. Spend a $100 more and get the Bushwackers (after rebate). http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...Category_Code=

If you are looking for the factory look but want steel (or aluminum) check out Nemesis Industries. Their website isnt updated but facebook has some pretty good shots.

Thanks for the link. Very nice looking fenders, but the price is a tad high.

Thanks again.

And? My Bushwackers can take a hit and go right back in to place. One hit on those steel fenders and you're SOL. Not to mention the high potential for rust.

The BWs ARE the more functional of the two. They are designed to flex if needed. See my post above. And they allow for side marker lights...

Those have been on the Smittybilt site for nearly 2 years now... Still haven't made it to production. Gave up on them last summer and just chopped my factory flares.
