Are you using the Bestop tailgate bar or an oem Mopar tailgate bar? The one that comes with the Trektop is known to leak.

After dealing with Bestop for two different soft tops and the problems with them, my advice would be to just return it. There customer service is lacking.

Agreed. Have a defective severely ballooning sailcloth top and wrinkled rear window; was told to wait a year and call back. So i did... "Oh it must be your oem hardwear. The top does not look defective, its just part of owning a soft top."

Like hell a top that inflates 3 inches is normal...

Return it. Find a better company

My Trektop only leaks when it's in the up position, it rains, or i run thru a car wash. The best soltuion i found was to rip out the carpet, pull the plugs, and Monstaline the whole interior. It creates a nice self-bailing cockpit like a boat.

If replacing the seals didn't solve the problem, I would contact Bestop.

Mine is too. Had warrentee fix front doors by lifting door higher just a bit. Tailgate is a disaster. next owner will have to drill a drain hole in the jack compartment. Tried new rubber across bottom of lift glass door,,new sponge strips on tail/g top corners both. Lift glass hatch is nice but not worth the price versus the probs.
